Kieran Mulvey, former CEO of the Labour Relations Commission, appointed to the Board of Speed Fibre Group as a non-executive director

Speed Fibre Group, Ireland’s leading telecoms infrastructure provider and the parent company of telecommunications companies Enet and Magnet Plus, has appointed Kieran Mulvey to the Board of the company.

Kieran Mulvey was Chief Executive of the Labour Relations Commission from 1991 to 2016 and Director General of the Workplace Relations Commission until June 2016. Currently Chairman of the Board of An Post, Kieran Mulvey has also served as Chairperson of Sport Ireland for a decade, and was appointed the first Just Transition Commissioner from 2019 to 2023. He is PCF approved by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Fitness and Probity regime. He has also served on many University Boards and various Government Bodies/Agencies.

Kieran Mulvey is a graduate of UCD and holds postgraduate qualifications in Education and Law. A Fellow of the Educational Institute of Scotland, Kieran holds Honorary Doctorates of Laws from the National University of Ireland and UCD and is an Honorary Fellow of the Employment Law Association. He was also conferred with the first Honorary Fellow of the CIPD.
